A few days later

Hi! I had a good birthday. I think the best present was getting a new friend.
Terri's son Christian is living with them. He is very nice.
I also got from the Magnants (A new purse black bangles and white bangles and a black & white seed bead necklace, and an earring set. Felicity got me some hear rainbow earrings. Christian got me some earrings that look like crystal disco balls, and a bracelet.
My mom got me a french bread sword, croissants, and 2 bottles of Jone's soda.
Leah got me a necklace, and earring set.
I had a nice day, and I am now 15. Whew. Hoh, boy.
I have a chorus class tonight, but I am obviously not going sense it starts at5:00. (It is 5:15.) I guess mom forgot.

Saturday is tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY!

Hi. Guess what tomorrow is?? My Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We went to homeschool co-op today. I do a class in art, and in singing. the teacher, wants me to do sign language for the song, 'I will sing of your love forever'. I have it down almost perfectly already!

I walked to the library today. I got 2 movies, and some books. I got some weird ones. I got a creepy one, and I don't even now why. A piece of me thinks that I like scary books. But then I stop reading them because I know I'm just going to give myself nightmares. I always get them, and usually I can wake myself up before something really scary happens, but not always. like, last night, I had one about i was watching a movie, sort of,and it was about a huge alligator eating people. Like lake placid, only I've never see that movie. I haven't even been interested in seeing it. And the stars all get eaten and there is no comeback to the stupid story. And I had another dream last night, that mom and I were driving int eh Wal*Mart parking lot, and there was a deaf kid walking, and he was signing something and I was like, "Mom, wait!" so she stopped the car, and I got out and I was trying to think, "What is the sign for 'do you need help'?! Oh, what is it??!!" But somehow I understood he meant, "I'm just looking for my mom." And I was like, "Oh."
I hope when I really meet a deaf person, I will know what to say, especially if someone's in peril.

I am excited to blow out my candles.
I might get an mp3 player for myself. I just really need something to listen to my music on. Music is like a drug. I just can't get away from it!!!! Dad's is broken, that's why I don't use it.

Can you see two?

I took this picture coming home from Bella's house. We went on Saturday and left Sunday. I haven't seen a rainbow in so long I had tears in my eyes when I saw this one. It was so, just,-no, I won't say anything to butcher it. It is what it is.

Hi. TToommoorrrrooww is sign language class. Alicia and Griffen are giving me a ride home. I kinda like Griffen. He's a cute kid. he has bucky teeth and freckles and strawberry blond hair. I am glad that-(he's 11,) I'm not the only person under 75 there anymore- besides Jenny. But she's not always here anyway. I can't believe TToommoorrrrooww is Monday. Another school day. I only have 2 years left, though. I am probly going to take driver's Ed when I'm 17, after I finish school and have a job to get some money at.
I don't think i'm going to be a lifeguard. I don't now if God wants me to do it or not. I still have to talk to my Father about it first. I don't know if it would be the right job for me. I don't think I would be strict enough, because I know how the kids feel when some annoying life guard tells them to stop horsing around when they were just playing.
I fell off the ladder going up to our new room. Well, here's what happened:
I was climbing down , and I put my right foot on the top rung. My left foot was on the wooden doorway. Well, my left foot slipped off the wood, and I was holding backwards onto the ladder (because i always go down a ladder backwards, it's just the easier way for me,) and I was either going to let the ladder fall over vertically and land on top of me, or I had to let go before that happened and jump off. I had to think quick, too, because the ladder was starting to lean forward. All in all, there was really only one thing to do. I jumped. I landed on my feet crouching, and it felt like I shattered both of my heels, but the right one hurt the most and I couldn't stand up. I did after mom came out asking me if I was okay. I limped into the house and sat on the couch, trying to move my right foot, and I couldn't for about 5 minutes, but then I could.I still couldn't walk on it for a few hours, but I don't think I broke anything. For some reason, I was laughing like a maniac. Probably adrenaline. I can walk alright, now.

Mom says I need to go to bed:( It ain't even 9:30!

Leah's Birthday

Hi. Today is Leah's birthday. On Shana logic, there's this music video of Tegan and Sara*, who do some interesting songs, but I saw a video of them talking, and the were talking about Sara was smoking pot, so I stopped watching the video and didn't look up stuff about them, which I didn't really do, but you know, trying to find some music to see if they were good or not. but I do like one of their songs called 'back in your head' but I don't look up stuff about them anymore






*It took me awhile to figure out that they were twin sisters, Tegan kinda looks like a boy, sorta, but yeah, they're both girls...but Tegan is not as feminine as Sara.

Hi! Tomorrow we we are going to the Commond Ground fair!I am really excited! It is cool! I am going to take a lot of pictures if my camera is working or not.
Freddy ran away after I didn't get him any resse's cups. He hasn't come back yet, but I know he will. He's probably at Hannah's house sleeping over waiting for me to call. Reese's are all he eats. Hannah always has plenty of reese's at her house.

Hi. We went to an apple orchard. It was very cool. Maybe tomorrow I will put up some pictures of it. I took over 80. But it would take too long to put up that many.
Gabe made the paper in cross country, but they put him down as David Susen! It's stupid! And also, in the SAME paper, Isaiah, Leah, Davey, Joseph, Esther, and Deke are swimming out front. It is weird to have two pictures of your family in the paper at the same time!!!!!Well, it looks like I'm almost back into the swing of things. I'm back, for a bit. Maybe one post here or there. Ellie is one now.
I went to camp, but I didn't bring my camera, because it has been acting up lately and I was scared to build my hopes up, then have my camera delete all the pictures. That would ruin the whole trip.
The kids are watching The spiderwick chronicles. It is ok, but not awesome since this stupid actor kid is in it: Freddie Highmore. I hate his acting, he's not even good at it. Oh, gag! I hate his acting! He's so annoying! I really want them to make a Gregor the Overlander movie, but I'm afraid that they're going to use him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I said, my camera has not been working correctly, lately so I don't have a lot of pictures to show for my vacation.
We have started school again, I am having it very easy this year. Only 3 or 4 periods a day. I am taking a sign language class this year, at adult ed. That is all I have to say for now.

All I hear.

HONK! BEEP! "WATCH IT!"

Cars ZOOM by
Everyone's running
Everyone's going
No one stops
Everyone ZOOMS ZOOMS ZOOMS
Even at night.

A deer and a fawn attempt to cross;
SCREECH! CRASH! HONK!
The fawn runs away.
The deer doesn't.

In the drak,
A porcupine sees no cars.
Then they're upon him.
BUMP.
Daylight and red smears on the tar.
A lump of fur on the side near the grass.

Night comes.
Then someone stops.
The car behind comes ZOOMing so fast
the people don't even see it until
there's a SCREECH of tires and a
CRASH and a
TINKLING sound of glass.
And SCREAMS.

Lights shining all over.
No smears of red.
Lots of glass.
SIRENS.
Colored lights whirl all around, coming and going.
CRYING and MOANING.
The lights stay 'til
the big light comes in the morning.
Then the colored lights are gone.
There are a few shards of glass.

A turtle crawls
so slow,
I know there's no hope.

Except, it crosses the rumble strip and the white line on the side.
Cars ZOOM.
Every time one ZOOMs, the turtle pauses
then resumes its deadly crawl.

No ZOOMs for a few minutes, now.
The turtle takes advantage of that and makes it
to the middle of the road.
I hear a ZOOM coming.
The turtle knows.

It stops and looks.
SCREECH!
I wait for the BUMP,
or the CRUNCH,
but none do I hear.
The car stops.
The turtle goes.


A second ZOOM is sounding up.
It stops with no SCREECH!

The turtle goes.

A third ZOOM, not so loud.

YELLS! from second car.

"G' WAN!"
"IT'S A TURTLE!"

HONK! from third.

The turtle goes.

Fourth ZOOM and fifth zoom come.
HONKs from fifth.
The turtle goes.

Seventh, eighth, and ninth zoom.

Last night was Nate Oliver's birthday party. That's why I had to go away for a few minutes because I had to make him a birthday card.
The party was at 6 o'clock. I guess we are having a party for Elijah today, so anyone reading this, come over!!!!!!! He had his birthday on July 24. The day after Nate's.
Last night I wrote a poem before I went to bed. I will put it on here.

Hello hello hello. Me and mom just went on a 3-store shopping trip looking for water to drink. We found some at The Big Apple after looking at the 2 irvings.
The power went out for about 3 hours today, and with that, the pump went ka-put.

Dad has the pump fixed! And the water pressure is higher than ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday

Hi. I really really really want to see Mama Mia. It's the music that really got my attention. Leah said last night while I was sleeping, I kept singing the theme song over and over and she was about to tell me, 'Becky, be quiet!' when I stopped. that shows how much I want to see it!!!!
We spent a chilly calm day at the beach. It was cold out of the water, but warm in. It was rather cloudy, so there was hardly anybody there. Those are the days that mom likes the most. She doesn't like tons of kids running around and screaming all over the place.
They had to fix the ladder because a big fat guy was climbing up the ladder and it broke. It was broken through the homecoming week, so it was not very fun because they had the dock out for most of it to fix it.
Bella is coming back to visit in about a week!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am going to look for a 13 going on 30 trailer so you know what my favorite movie is like.

I got a new playlist and I am physicked about that. We saw the parade today. I saw Kelly Jon Jon and Judah and Joey. they are sooooo cute! Jon Jon is a good boy. He sat by me the whole time during the parade.

Beach day

Hi. Today is Beach day. We go to the beach and play games such as the life jacket relay, (there are 2 teams, and each each member has to put on a life jacket and run into the water and run back out and hand it to the next person who in turn does the same until they are all done.) And the messy obstacle course which is you have to run through 8 or so tires filled with ketchup and mustard, then run and slide across a tarp with dish soap and flour and oil on it. then you crawl under 2 chairs that have strips hanging down with shaving cream and thjen you run and try to jump across a hole in the sand filled with water (that's really cold) and then out run into the water. We also do a water balloon toss. And they give you some candy.
Bella is here. SO ARE KELLY AND JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited to see them! Everyone else saw them last night at church, but I stayed home with Solomon because mom thought he would be a grumpy person but he wasn't.
We have piano lessons today at 9 o'clock. Bella is coming with us.

Hey. We went to mickey D's for lunch (a rare treat) but only because the 3 oldest boys are gone and Leah.
Missy is coming over this afternoon, and at around 4:45 I'm going to babysit at sara's house and Chill with her kids.

Friday

Hi. Today was a quite going well day.
I got the movie 13 going on 30 from Wal* Mart for only $5.00! I am so excited!
I also got the new pink Elixer 5 gum. I have tried the yellow Lush kind, the red cinnamon kind, the green spearmint kind, and the blue minty kind. I have not eaten a piece of the pink kind yet. I am saving it. :D Ha Ha!
We went grocery shopping today with my mom, (Leah, Joseph, Esther and I) and got food and stuff. I got a long frenchbread and I had it up against my shoulder and Esther and I were pretending that we were marching in the army. Then Esther wanted to hold the 'gun' and it was to long and it broke in half. So we put it back and get a different loaf. I know. Bad huh? Then we went to a yardsale and I got 5 movies for the little kids! 5! They were 2 little bear movies, 2 blue's clue's movies, and george of the jungle. One of Solomon's favorite movies. And mine. Then leah and I rode our bikes to another yardsale and I got an outfit or Ellie, pajamas for Solomon, a make dolls book, a book that mom has to proof read first, because it is a about a teenager getting pregnant, but I knew she was going to have to proof-read it anyway. And a little kids story book, and a stuffed beanie baby hippopotamus.

Wednesday

Spent an even longer day at the beach! I got burned some more! Nate and Missy and their family came to the beach. We had a fun time. We went to swing (Gabe Missy Nate and I ) and I felt so free and whole just swinging. Then Gabe and Nate were making me laugh so hard I could barely breathe and I almost fell backwards off the swing!! They were pretending to walk in front of the swing while I was up in the air and then Gabe was trying to walk like an old lady across the path with a cane, and I he didn't walk fast enough and I kicked him in the butt! It was so funny!!! Missy swung too. She swang next to me and I think she had a lot of fun. We were all trying to go as high as we could. We were making quite a spectacle of ourselves, but it was kind of fun having some attention! All of the bad kids were watching us, and I don't know if they were thinking about what nuts we were acting like, or if they wished they could have fun like that with us, or what, but it was fun! I don't think I've ever laughed that hard ever! I was literally gasping for breath! It felt so good to laugh like that.
I laughed pretty hard last night though watching WIPEOUT on channel 7 at 8 O'clock. It is the funniest show! It even made Solomon and Esther laugh! It's a very family friendly show, and it is hilarious, so watch it! It's really good.
We didn't get slush puppies last night, there wasn't enough time. But we got them today before swimming lessons.

We spent the day at the beach, and I totally forgot to put sunscreen on.

Hi. I am home, (duh,) and am glad about it. Vacations are fun, but I miss my family terribly, and get homesick A LOT while I'm away. My haircut was ok, although everyone who saw it says it doesn't look much different and I agree. The woman who cut my hair made me feel like a dufus because she kept making such a big deal about 'how bad they did on my hair' and 'they should have their licences taken away', and such and such. It was kind of embarrasing.
I found my favorite hat!!!!!!!!!!! I found it just sitting on top of mom's cedar dresser and she said she doesn't know where it came from anyway. I am so excited!!!
Grammy got us a WORLD INDUSTRIES SKATEBOARD from a yardsale!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know for how much she got it for, but they are expensive and the good kind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to go to some fireworks at Stover's beach at 10:00 tonight. I like going to Debbie's house, but I will be glad to be home when we are. Sometimes I forget what my family is like after only like 5 days!!! It probably seems weird, but when I talked to Solomon yesterday night, he didn't sound like the Solomon i know. He sounded really different. That's why I hate talking on the phone, because it makes the people sound weird, and you don't always know who you re talking to. And I just don't know what to say when I can't see the person. It's hard to know what to say, and it's kind of awkward.
We are going to go home on Saturday. I got the children treats. I got Ellie a pink stuffed monkey, Solomon, Spiderman water wings, Esther, a little dolly playset, Joseph, a bubble blowing set, and Davey a squishy lizard that sticks to glass. I am still thinking of what I can get Gabe and Elijah. And Mom and dad.
We watched Titanic today down in the basement. I almost couldn't watch it. usually that movie is great, but all the people screaming for help and yelling was scarier than usual...I won't explain why. We are going to leave soon, so I will go. Goodnight and have amazing dreams.

The new handshake I made up was from a dream that I had two nights ago:

With one hand, slap you and your partners palms together once, then slap the backs of your hands together. Tap the knuckles of your pointer and middle fingers together with your partner, while making a noise with your mouth by pressing your tongue against the roof of your mouth and blowing air out, somewhat like a caw, and then the two bottom knuckles, while making a tooting noise with your mouth. Weird, I know, but really fun too!

At Debbies

Hi. I am at Debbie's house right now, on her laptop. Sorry I didn't blog for a bit, I need a break.
We are having a lot of fun. I taught my cousin Bella how to do ASL. (American Sign language.) She caught on pretty quick.
Leah and I learned at River of Life bible camp. We don't go there anymore, because my mom and dad thought it was inappropriate. The whole thing was secular about boyfriend and girlfriends crap. I am getting a haircut today at 4:00pm. I hope they do better than supercuts. Because they didn't do so great.
The whole fire thing is over. the woman has 60-65% burns on her body, and the man has 80-85%. They both have infections from jumping in the lake, but you're screwed either way. I mean, burn up in your house, or jump in the lake and die from an infection. It was so horrible standing there on the bank and listening to the people yell for help and not being able to do anything about it. It still haunts me, and it was one week ago today. It seems like way longer though. Time always slows down while we're at Debbie's house.
I got to go. I told Bella I'd help her make a blog.

Yay

Elijah is home. After 4 and a half hours of sitting in the waiting room just sitting there, the doctors gave him a tetanus shot, and an antibiotic, and sent him home. He is supposed to lay on the couch for 2 days. keeping his foot elevated, but he has been getting up:)

Bella is not here yet. She should be here around 10:30.

I am going to look for a sign language book or sheets on the internet with all the basic signs.

Sunday

Today we went to church. Elijah had to go to the emergency room. He has an infection on his foot, thats spreading up his leg it's from the bottom of the middle of his foot, to bit past his ankle. He has a fever,and is all teary. It makes me want to cry when I think about him, because he was so scared when Gabe being the big mouth hat he is, yelled, "Elijah! Holy cow! That's bad! You're going to have to go to the hospital!" And Elijah started crying because he was nervous, because he hasn't been to the doctors for a long time. Not since he was like 6 when he split his eyebrow open and had to get some stitches.

We went to he beach after church, and two people from our church got baptized. It was really fun, and cool to be able to evangelize. People on the beach looked at us funny, but I though it was cool. Some people got up and ran to their car. It's like, "We are going to mob you!"

I got to go. We are going to church soon.

Saturday

Hi. I had some fun at the concert. It was mostly rap, but it was still pretty good. I didn't know anyone I saw, except for Brian (a guy that goes to our church,) and Tim. (Some one me and Gabe met thee a long time ago.) I didn't talk to Tim, but Gabe did. He didn't remember me anyway, because I told Gabe to tell him I said 'hi', but he didn't know who I was. That's not a surprise.
Anyway, Bella is coming over Monday. I am excited about that. And on Friday, we are going to go to her house! So don't be surprised if I don't chat much from the 30 - July 4.

Friday

Hi. The kids are going to a pizza party at Stephanie Matthew's house, for homeschoolers.
I am going to a concert!!!!!!!! It's called the wrecking. I am going with Missy Maclellen and her brother Josiah. Missy is married, but her husband Matt is in Arizona working for the border patrol. She is moving up there with him in a couple of weeks. She is about 22 maybe. Josiah Thurlow is 15. They asked me to invite Gabe too. I hope he comes. because I know Missy good, but I would still be a little nervous... anyway the admission is free.
Last night Kimmy and Josiah were the 2 man band for church. Josiah played the mandolin, and Kimmy the guitar. The people who are normally in the band are Bob, Joel and Steve. Bob had strep throat, and I don't know why the other guys didn't want to play. The were all there. (Except Bob)
I got a new shirt at Marden's that I am going to wear today. And a new silver kippa and some pretty purple bangles. They kippa sort of matches whatever you wear. Like, you wear a blue shirt, it looks tinted blue. With my purple shirt, it looked lavender. I love my new purple shirt. I will do a picture if you really care.
